Our Story..

At our company, construction is more than just a job - it's about family, community, and building lasting relationships. Founded by Matt Cantoni, our company was built on hard work, trust, and a commitment to serving the community with quality craftsmanship and care.

Matt may be the owner, but he has never been one to simply sit behind a desk. He is hands-on with every project, working side by side with the team and making sure every job is completed with pride and attention to detail. His leadership and dedication set the standard for the entire company.

Alongside him is Head Project Manager Andrew Salas, whose strong work ethic, determination, and people-first mindset help keep every project running smoothly. Andrew has made this company a true priority and is known for building strong relationships with both clients and the team through his reliability, communication, and commitment to excellence.

What truly makes our company special is our team of nine dedicated individuals who are more than employees - they are family. Together, we've built a culture rooted in respect, loyalty, teamwork, and a genuine passion for serving our community.

Bringing that vision to life is a team of dedicated individuals who each play an important role in the success of our company and projects.

Hannah Whitney, our Project Manager and Lead of our Interior Design Team, brings over 15 years of experience in both project management and interior design. Her expertise helps seamlessly combine functionality, organization, and beautiful design to ensure every project comes together with purpose and precision.

Our field supervisors, Joseph Cantoni, Louis Cantoni and Dom Salas help keep every job site running smoothly and efficiently while maintaining quality, communication, and attention to detail throughout each phase of construction.

Antonella Hanao, Office Administrator, is the backbone of our operations, helping keep everything organized and connected behind the scenes so our team and projects continue to run effectively.

McKennah Turner, leads our social media and Communications, helping us stay connected with our clients and community while sharing the heart behind the work we do.

Our Project Managers, Matt Cantoni, Andrew Salas, Jose Salas, play a vital role in overseeing projects, supporting clients, and helping ensure each job is completed with professionalism, care, and efficiency.

Matt Cantoni

Matt Cantoni

Project Manager

Matt Cantoni has been working in the construction industry since 1992, building a career rooted in craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a passion for creating exceptional homes. He began his career with a painting company, where he developed an eye for high-end finishes and quality workmanship before transitioning into carpentry and starting his own business in 1995. Throughout the years, he has worked extensively in high-end remodels and custom home construction, helping bring countless projects to life. Some of the homes he contributed to have even been featured in Better Homes & Gardens, a testament to the quality and care he brings to every project. 

Over the course of his career, Matt has gained experience across a wide range of construction projects, including commercial work on Google facilities and restaurant builds, where he developed valuable experience in fast-paced, detail oriented environments. Holding an inspection certification and remaining actively involved in the field, he enjoys being hands on throughout the building process and believes that staying connected to the day-to-day work is one of the best ways to ensure quality results. He takes pride in building strong relationships with clients, guiding projects from concept to completion, and helping turn ideas into homes that families will enjoy for generations.

 

Andrew Salas

Project Manager

Andrew Salas is a Project Manager with Glacier Valley Construction and an eight-year military veteran with over 25 years of construction experience. Having started in the industry at just 15 years old, he has built a career founded on hard work, leadership, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

His experience spans both commercial and residential construction, including restaurants, tenant improvements, large-scale remodels, and high-end custom homes. With a strong understanding of project management, field operations, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control, Andrew works closely with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure successful outcomes from start to finish.

His military service instilled the discipline, accountability, and attention to detail that continue to define his approach to construction today. Known for his strong work ethic and dedication to excellence, Andres is committed to delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

At Glacier Valley Construction, Andrew takes pride in building lasting relationships and helping clients bring their vision to life.

Hannah Whitney

Hannah Whitney

Project Manager - Lead Interior Designer

Hannah Whitney brings a refined, detail-driven approach to luxury interiors, partnering closely with our team, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and homeowners to create spaces that reflect both beauty and purpose. Her work is rooted in a deep understanding of materiality, spatial flow, and timeless and sometimes daring design, shaped by her travels around the world and her education at an Australian-based interior design school.

Her experience spans ground-up custom builds, multi-family projects, commercial spaces, and transformative remodels.

She brings extensive experience in community outreach and has collaborated closely with the City of Whitefish, the City of Kalispell, and the City of Columbia Falls planning and building departments to secure Planned Unit Developments (PUDs), including the successful development of a 146-unit project from concept through completion.  With an instinct for harmony and a sharp eye for finishes, Hannah thoughtfully layers architecture, function, and luxury into every space. Each project is tailored to reflect the client’s lifestyle and the character of the home, resulting in interiors that feel both elevated and enduring.

McKennah Turner

McKennah Turner

Social Media & Communications

McKennah Turner enjoys connecting with people and bringing fresh ideas into everything she does. She thrives in collaborative environments, values building strong relationships, and believes that meaningful connections are at the heart of every successful project. She enjoys work that allows her to think creatively, take on new challenges, and continuously grow both personally and professionally. With a passion for learning and a strong drive to expand her skill set, McKennah is currently pursuing degrees in interior design and business management. In addition to her studies, she works alongside Glacier Valley's lead interior designer Hannah Whitney as an assistant, gaining valuable hands-on experience throughout the design process. Through each opportunity, McKennah continues to step out of her comfort zone, embrace new experiences, and deepen her understanding of both the design and business aspects of the industry. Her dedication, curiosity, and eagerness to learn allow her to contribute thoughtfully while continuing to grow into a well rounded professional.

Louis Cantoni enjoys the hands-on nature of construction and appreciates that no two days are the same. he takes pride in working hard, staying productive, and being part of a strong team that collaborates to bring projects to life. He enjoys the problem solving, adaptability, and Variety that come with the construction industry and finds satisfaction in seeing a project progress from the initial stages all the way to the finished result. Louis is always looking for opportunities to expand his skills, gain new experience, and continue growing within the field. known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude, he approaches each project with dedication and a willingness to learn. he values the relationships and teamwork that are essential to the industry and takes pride in contributing to projects that create lasting results for clients and positively impact the community.

Joey Cantoni enjoys the fast-paced environment of construction and thrives when he is out in the field overseeing the day-to-day progress of a project. He enjoys the challenge of balancing multiple moving parts, coordinating schedules, and ensuring work continues efficiently from one phase to the next. Joey is a natural problem solver who values staying organized and finding practical solutions when unexpected challenges arise. He takes pride in helping projects stay on track while maintaining a high standard of quality and craftsmanship. One of the aspects he enjoys most about construction is witnessing the transformation of a project from a set of plans into a finished home or building. Seeing each stage come together and knowing his efforts helped bring the vision to life is what drives his passion for the industry. His commitment to keeping projects running smoothly and his dedication to delivering successful results make him an important part of glacier valley team.

Antonella Hanao

Office Administrator

Antonella brings over five years of experience in the construction industry, with a background that spans both field operations and financial management. Before joining Glacier Valley Construction Services, she worked as a Safety Coordinator for several years, gaining firsthand knowledge of construction processes, workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and the day-to-day coordination required to keep projects running efficiently. This experience provided her with a strong understanding of the challenges and responsibilities involved in successful project execution.

Today, Antonella manages the office operations of Glacier Valley Construction Services, overseeing project finances, budgeting, job costing, invoicing and financial reporting. Her experience on both the operational and financial sides of construction allows her to understand projects from multiple perspectives, helping ensure they remain organized.

Dom Salas

Dominic Salas

Field Support Manager

Dominic Salas's passion for compassion for construction began at a young age, inspired by his father, who quit his job the day he learned Dominic was going to be born to pursue his dream of becoming a successful business owner. growing up around the industry, Dominic was introduced to construction early and spent much of his childhood on jobsites. one of his favorite stories is helping his dad build decks for the family business in Texas, proudly installing a screw at just three years old. 

What started as childhood memories quickly grew into a lifelong passion, leading him to enter the construction industry full-time at 19 years old. Since then, he has dedicated himself to expanding his knowledge, refining his skills, and delivering quality workmanship on every project. Dominic takes pride in being part of a team that brings ideas to life through hard work, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. he enjoys seeing projects come together from start to finish and values the relationships and trust built along the way.
